Bakuretsu Con announces Chris Cason to appear this weekend

The staff of Bakuretsu Con is please to announce a last minute guest addition. ADR director, voice actor, and writer Chris Cason will be joining us this weekend at Bakuretsu Con.

Beginning in 1999 (as the original Tien Shinhan and Mr. Popo in Dragonball Z), Cason has had the opportunity to be associated with many exciting properties. He has voiced such characters as Gluttony in Fullmetal Alchemist, Boo and Whitey in Shin-Chan, Chamo in Negima, Haruki Hanai in School Rumble, Shu in Dragonball, and Kazamachi in Basilisk.

He can also be heard in: Gunslinger Girl, Black Cat, Trinity Blood, Hell Girl, Ouran High School Host Club, Witchblade, Claymore, and D. Gray Man.

Some of his ADR directing and assistant ADR directing credits include: DBZ Uncut, Dragonball, Dragonball GT, Case Closed, Galaxy Railways, Baki the Grappler, Yu Yu Hakusho, Negima, School Rumble, Hell Girl, Kaze no Stigma, and Bamboo Blade.

Chris is thrilled to be a in Vermont for Bakuretsu Con this year!

About Bakuretsu Con: Bakuretsu Con is Vermont's only Anime convention and 2010 marks its 9th year. The convention will be held October 21st to October 24th and is located in Colchester right off of Interstate 89 at the Hampton Inn. Bakuretsu Con offers a variety of activities and programming including cosplay, dances, video screenings, video gaming, table top gaming, dealer's room, artist's alley, manga library, and many panels and workshops related to Japanese culture, anime fandom, and the industry. Bakuretsu Con is presented by the Anime Society of Vermont.
