Avatar stunt double Reuben Langdon will be a guest of honor at FanimeCon 2010

San Jose, CA (March 23, 2010) - FanimeCon, Northern California's largest anime convention, is proud to announce Reuben Langdon as a Guest of Honor at FanimeCon 2010, which is being held over Memorial Day weekend, May 28th to May 31st, at the San Jose Convention Center.

Although you may not recognize him, Reuben Langdon is in the most talked-about film of the decade, James Cameron's Avatar, as the stunt double for the main character, Jake Sully. He also performed many stunts for various CG and live action characters in the film using motion capture technology.

Reuben's past work include roles in TV series such as Martial Law, Power Rangers, and B-Fighter Kabuto (better known in the US as Beetleborg Metallix); films such as The Medallion, Gen-Y Cops, and Jackie Chan: My Stunts; and video games such as Resident Evil 5, Devil May Cry 3-4, The Bourne Conspiracy, Street Fighter 4, Star Wars: Jedi Knight II, and Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. Reuben has worked with respected directors such as Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson, and he is co-founder of Just Cause Productions, an international multimedia production house pioneering stereoscopic 3D techniques.

Reuben's current projects include the live action adaptation of Bryan Lee O'Malley's graphic novel, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, which hits theaters on August 13th, 2010.
